J2 Aircraft Dynamics Introduction

J2 AIRCRAFT DYNAMICS

IF YOU COULD PREDICT THE FUTURE, JUST THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES

J2 Aircraft Dynamics has taken over 10 years to evolve this state-of-the-art engineering analysis software tool for the assessment and visualisation of an aircraft in flight. Now highly effective and popular, the J2 Universal Tool-Kit is easy to use and will be your constant and expert companion as you develop your aircraft’s flight dynamics – on hand to help you resolve its performance and handling characteristics

J2's customers are now able to take advantage of an enhanced aircraft design and development process. These companies are able to establish problems sooner and optimise aircraft to ensure that all aspects of the mission specification have been satisfied. The J2 Universal Tool-Kit can help to eliminate design flaws and poor performance characteristics at a much earlier stage in the design process. As more information can be discovered and evaluated sooner, the cost of modifications is reduced, and the shortened development process leads to a much earlier ‘Time-to Market’.

Each user requires the J2 Framework on their computer; this license is 'node-locked'. The other modules are 'floating licenses' and can be called upon when required. This means that you are able to build up your users economically.

J2 FRAMEWORK J2 FRAMEWORK
The Desk-top Interface that allows each user to perform different tasks at varying stages of the design process and work together to optimise an aircraft model.
J2 FRAMEWORK *NEW* J2 DEVELOPER
A Software Development Kit (SDK) for all users to write their own components and libraries and then an interface into J2 Aircraft Models into which these libraries can be plugged in.
J2 FRAMEWORK *NEW* J2 MATLAB TOOLBOX
Allows the full capability of the J2 Universal Tool-Kit with Simulink Model files. Manoeuvres developed from within J2 can also be flown on Simulink Models. It is possible to run analyses from within J2 using J2 Matlab Response and J2 Matlab Trim analyses
< More >
J2 FRAMEWORK J2 BUILDER
This unique and easy-to-use interface enables users to construct sophisticated aircraft data models rapidly and efficiently, no matter whether the model itself is simple or highly complex.
J2 FRAMEWORK J2 FREEDOM
Enables users to create trim and response scenarios and use these models together with previously created aircraft to perform static and dynamic analyses.
J2 FRAMEWORK J2 VISUALIZE
The data display plug-in of the J2 Universal Tool-Kit, enables designers to create monitors, graphs and traces with which to view the data either as an analysis is underway or as a post processing tool.
J2 FRAMEWORK J2 VIRTUAL
Allows flight test data to be viewed, to highlight what actually happens during an unexplained or complex aircraft manoeuvre.
J2 FRAMEWORK J2 ACTIVE
J2 Active enables users to combine the best of both worlds. Integrate easily constructed configuration managed aircraft models into existing MATLAB/Simulink simulations.
J2 FRAMEWORK J2 ELEMENTS
Enables automatic calculation of total aerodynamic coefficients and derivatives through integrated strip theory.
